HIGHLIGHTS of Maine Mendoza’s First Five Months in Showbiz PART 1
I can’t think of any other celebrity in recent years who has achieved as much as Maine Mendoza has in the span of five months. Imagine, in less than half a year, what she called her “secret ultimate dream” of getting into showbiz became a reality and in an overwhelming way. Since her launch in July this year, she has become a valuable member a.k.a. Dabarkad of the longest running noontime show Eat Bulaga, 1/2 of a phenomenal love team ALDUB with Alden Richards, sought-after brand ambassador/product endorser, cover girl for top magazines, a TV and movie actress. I guess all those naysayers when her name was just starting to create buzz are slowly realizing that this girl has something more than beauty and talent to offer. Maine has that unexplainable charm that maybe even the AlDub Nation whom she captivated will not be able to explain. One striking trait that sets her apart is her rawness, something that makes others relate to her. Until now, despite all the hype and exposure, she still exudes the ordinary-girl-who-can-be-your-friend-daughter-or-sister vibe. While almost all female celebrities we see on Instagram post carefully angled or all-glammed up photos, this girl’s feed is flooded with wacky shots and unflattering angles.
As they say, in this industry, it’s either you got it or you don’t. Well, she seems to have gotten it all.
