Gerald Anderson wowed his audience last Saturday when he played the role of Bert Mendoza, a public school teacher suffering from a condition called X-linked Dystonia Parkinsonism (XDP) for Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK). The said condition affects one’s speech and includes uncontrollable muscle movements. It is locally known as “lubag.”
Positive feedback flooded social media during the show’s airing lauding Gerald for a great performance.
