Miss Universe fans – gear up! Here are the latest updates on the 65th Miss Universe pageant which will be held in the Philippines on January 30, 2017 (US Date: January 29, 2017). Of course, our Queen P — current Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach — will be there to crown her successor.

Security:
The confirmed 100 candidates from various countries are expected to arrive on 13 January 2017. The Philippine military will serve as security escorts for the candidates of Miss Universe, as assigned by the Philippine national security council.
