Kapuso fans are in for magical Sundays with the newest family-oriented show Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko, set to premiere today on GMA’s Sunday Grande, after Hay, Bahay! The show stars the industry’s premiere veteran actress Gloria Romero as Lola Goreng.

AIMS TO SHAPE CHILDREN’S VALUES THROUGH STORIES

The show narrates the magical adventures of Lola Goreng and her grandchildren Alice (Jillian Ward) and Elvis (David Remo). The kids will soon find themselves living with street kid Moira (Chlaui Malayao). Joining the kiddie cast is Julius Miguel as Jorrel.

During the press conference last April 21, the kids were all raving about how fun it is to be working with the veteran actress whom they all described as kind, easy to work with, and generous with tips. Aside from her passion for her work as an actress, Gloria also displayed humility as she shared how she sometimes has to deal with “senior moments” on the set like forgetting her lines. She pays tribute to the kids and the production crew for their consideration and patience.

Well-respected actress Gloria Romero is thrilled and grateful to be entrusted a fairy role at age 83.
I can see their passion in acting. Minsan nahihiya nga ako kasi ako yung madalas magkamali. Sila, they can deliver their dialogues right away. Alam nila agad yung lines nila. They come to the set prepared. So, ako nahihiya whenever nagkakamali ako.”
Kaya I’m very happy every taping namin.”
