Last Sunday, the Pambansang Banda ng Bayan, Parokya ni Edgar, received two record awards: a Gold Record for their album “Pogi Years Old” and a Platinum Record for “Bente.”  The recognition for the band happened on ASAP and the awards were presented by Universal Records’ General Manager, Kathleen Dy Go.

“Pogi Years” includes hits such as “Lagi Mong Tatandaan” and “Sing” (a collaboration with Rico Blanco). Meanwhile, “Bente” is a compilation of the band’s iconic hits over the years.
