Julie Anne San Jose Holds Successful ‘Julie Sings the Divas’ Concert
GMA Artist Center talent Julie Anne San Jose performed more than twenty birit hits by international divas last night at The Theatre at Solaire. When concert producer and Julie’s mentor said during the blogcon, “Mark my word. Magaling. Grabe!,” he wasn’t kidding. Julie gave the concert her best shot and pulled off each number with flying colors.
During one of her spiels, Julie revealed she was down with flu symptoms days before the concert but this did not stop her from hitting the high notes and giving her audience a wonderful show. She credited the people behind the concert and her vocal coach for the success. Julie performed songs from different generations and even had impressive dance moves included.
The sold out concert was well-attended by GMA executives and bosses and Julie’s fellow GMA Artist Center talents. Spotted celebrities in the area were Barbie Forteza, Jak Roberto, Andre Paras, Cassy and Mavy Legaspi, Christian Bautista, and Sam Concepcion.
