Earlier today, for their 30th weeksary, Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza were together once again at the Broadway studio. In an effort to get Lola Nidora’s permission to take Yaya Dub-slash-Divina (Maine) out on an out-of-town date, Alden granted Lola’s wish for him to write a poem. Alden read the poem aloud in front of Maine and the Dabarkads in the studio. Halfway through his written poem, the Pambansang Bae turned emotional. This leaves everyone thinking, is the poem for reel or real? We really can’t tell. That’s the magic and the curse of Kalyeserye. Reality and fiction are blurred. Watch and read and you be the judge!

READ (Look, even Maine’s sister couldn’t help but react on Twitter!):
Alden’s heartfelt poem for Maine. [Yes, Maine, not Divina. Halata naman sa nilalaman XD] Overflowing ang MaiChard feels. Tagos sa puso ang bawat salita. Damang dama. Nauna pa akong umiyal kay A kanina. Lels XD Lalo na nung umiyak si Menggay. ?? I so love A for hugging her tight. No need of words. He understands her. He knows she’s fragile. Basta as a fan, I’m always here to support and understand whatever her decisions are. I trust her. I love her. I love them. ❤ #ALDUB30thWeeksary © @maichardpng
