Today’s It Girl Anne Curtis invades a new genre in her showbiz career – recording. As if it wasn’t surprising enough that Anne sang “Sukob Na” for the ABS-CBN’s Rainy Season 2011 Station ID, she’s out now with her debut album entitled AnneBisyosa. Some tracks included in the album are Total Eclipse of the Heart (feat. Sarah Geronimo), Alone, and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.
In all fairness to Anne, she never really claimed to be a great singer. In some interviews, she mentioned that this is simply a dream come true. After so many years of being with the same management, she personally requested Viva Entertainment to create this recording album for her.
Wish granted, AnneBisyosa was successfully launched yesterday at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati. As a fan video showed, the certified recording artist went down on her knees and burst into tears after seeing the overwhelming support from fans. With an easygoing and down-to-earth personality like that, it’s no wonder Anne gained such a huge following. We wouldn’t be surprised if her album turns platinum in no time.
