Unveiling Hidden Gems
BARMM boasts a diverse array of attractions, from the untouched beaches of Basilan and Tawi-Tawi to the breathtaking lakes and waterfalls of Lanao del Sur. The region is also home to magnificent mosques in Maguindanao, showcasing the unique architectural heritage of the region.
The recent introduction of commercial flights to several islands within BARMM has made these hidden gems more accessible than ever before. This increased accessibility, coupled with improved security in the region, has created a prime opportunity for tourism to flourish.
“With the opening of BARMM to the tourism market and the easing of crimes in the region, it’s time that we promote and motivate the byaheros to visit BARMM and see first-hand the beauty this southernmost region of our country has to offer,” Tulfo said.
Tourism as a Catalyst for Change
TURISMO Party-list is committed to supporting the development of sustainable tourism in BARMM. They recognize that tourism can be a powerful engine for economic growth, attracting investment and creating much-needed jobs for the local population. This initiative marks a turning point for BARMM, offering a chance to rewrite its narrative and showcase its true potential to the world.
