Bianca Gonzalez – the DIY Bridechilla! #jcandb
Anyone into weddings would know that DIY-themed ones are so in these days. Some are after the personalized touch while others are simply on a budget. Usually, these do-it-yourself stuff are for the regular brides who have the luxury of time. But celebrity slashie (TV host-model-magazine editor-book author-youth advocate) Bianca Gonzalez surprised everyone with her DIY prowess. The certified bridechilla (who launched her book a few days before her Big Day!) tied the knot with PBA player JC Intal the other day in El Nido, Palawan and had everyone abuzz as details of her simple yet elegant wedding are slowly being revealed.
It’s amazing how a terribly busy bride (and groom) managed to pay attention to the smallest details! Not only was she able to pull it off successfully,she also looked like she enjoyed every bit of it.

BRIDAL MAKEUP
As shared by Stylebible.ph, Bianca did her own makeup! The only other bride I know who dared to put her own makeup on one of the most important days of her life is Duchess Catherine (Kate Middleton) back in 2011. 🙂 Just like Kate who got private lessons from a professional makeup artist, Bianca also sought the help of celebrity makeup artist Lala Flores for tips. Lala will do Bianca’s makeup on her December 10 wedding party. 🙂
In case you’re curious, Bianca shared that her wedding day lipstick color was MAC’s Lickable.
GUESTS’ WELCOME KITS
Guests in their intimate wedding party were given welcome kits with handwritten notes from the couple!
TABLE PLACEMAT DESIGN
An indication of how special the wedding guests are, their names were part of the table placemat design. As shared by florist Robert Blancaflor, this was made by Bianca herself.
WEDDING ERRANDS
Aside from personally attending to her wedding errands (she shared having to sneak them in between tapings and meetings), Bianca was hands-on with fixing the wedding invites and from the looks of it, she had many of them handwritten by herself!
ENTOURAGE CARDS
Bianca turned crafty and tried out some watercolor lettering for her entourage cards. She even attended a crafternoon workshop to prepare for this. Awww! So personalized.
WALL PLANNER/CALENDAR
While she’s known for being “techie,” Bianca proves some old-school ways still do the trick! 🙂 Just look at these gigantic wall calendars made out of Manila paper. 🙂
