Adie: The Rising OPM Hitmaker
Adrian Garcia Eugenio, professionally known as Adie, is a 24-year-old Filipino singer-songwriter signed under Kean Cipriano’s O/C Records. He is best known for hits like Paraluman (2021), Tahanan (2021), and Mahika (2022), all of which topped the Philippine Songs Chart. With the recent release of his debut studio album, Senaryo (2024), Adie continues to dominate the local music scene with his soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics.
Sunkissed Lola: The Band Behind “Pasilyo”
The Filipino rock band Sunkissed Lola skyrocketed to fame with their chart-topping single Pasilyo (Aisle). The band is composed of Dan Ombao (lead vocals, guitar), Alvin Serito (lead vocals, acoustic guitar), Laura Lacbain (lead vocals), Danj Quimson (bass guitar), Genson Viloria (drums), and Rodnie Resos (keyboards). Their fresh sound and heartfelt compositions have made them a staple in today’s OPM landscape.
Calista: The Rebranded P-Pop Sensation

CALISTA with Direk Gelo
Also taking the stage is the all-female P-Pop group Calista, under Merlion Events Production. The four-member group—Anne, Dain, Elle, and Denise—first made waves in 2022 with their debut single Race Car. Recently, they rebranded their image and music, releasing the EP FOUR with the lead track Alas Dose.
Why these artists?
When asked how they selected the lineup, event CEO RJ Nicolas shared:
“For the performers, we saw Calista in a video and realized that there are many underrated artists who deserve more recognition. Adie is a huge name in the industry, and we wanted an artist who could raise the standards for our concert. Sunkissed Lola, on the other hand, is our band of choice because we want students to experience the best of Filipino talent.”
A Concert for a Cause

KFD’s impact extends beyond entertainment, as funds raised will be allocated to various beneficiaries. According to RJ Nicolas:
“The KFD has partner communities, such as Boso-Boso, Antipolo, and Sapang Palay, Bulacan. Additionally, we want to help calamity victims, especially after last year’s storms. The donations will go directly to these communities, as well as to Jesuit missionaries.”
The Golden Age of OPM
At the media conference, members of Calista shared their thoughts on the growing recognition of OPM (Original Pilipino Music).
“Yes po, naniniwala kami na 2025 is the year of OPM. With the rise of P-Pop, Filipino music is becoming stronger and reaching a wider audience—even outside the country. That’s why we’re so grateful to the Junior High School students for inviting us to this fundraising event. As artists, our mission is to inspire people, and we believe this concert will do just that.” – Calista Anne
