Celebrating Punjab Grill Singapore’s 5th Year of Maharaja-Inspired Splendor
We got treated to a royal maharajah-like buffet feast today as we dined at the Punjab Grill Singapore (B1-01, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands) for a Sunday lunch. This year marks Punjab’s fifth year anniversary — five years of serving excellent North Indian gastronomic delights in their beautiful, contemporary, and stylish restaurant at Marina Bay Sands.
Evoking modern Indian glamor, Punjab mixes a display of copper-colored ceiling ornaments, metals and transparent glasses, and glossy wine cellar and bar counters.

Indian food are known for their pungent, spice-rich dishes, which is typically an acquired taste for some. What Chef Javed Ahmad (pictured in the topmost photo) served today was surprisingly something I easily enjoyed eating— the taste was just right: not too strong, not spicy at all. Probably a taste that is inherent to Northern Indian cuisines?
