Congratulations to the Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles for winning the UAAP Season 74 championship game against FEU (82-69)! Ateneo will hold its traditional championship bonfire on October 8, 2011, at the Loyala Heights campus.
Okay, this photo below is from Fr. Ben’s (ADMU President) birthday, but that’s pretty much how the UAAP bonfire looks like—logs, tent, LED screen, band/orchestra—all the works.

This first photo shows the Ateneo team, which won 3 back-to-back championships in the NCAA from 1931 to 1933 (ADMU’s first 3-peat!).

On the other hand, this second photo shows what could be the very first championship bonfire that the Ateneo ever organized. This particular one was held in Luneta after Ateneo won the 1932 NCAA championship game 🙂
