Last February 11, “D’ ASWANG SLAYERZ” advanced screening was held last February 11, 2023 in Cinema 9, Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall in Cainta, Rizal. The horror-comedy movie starred seasoned comedian Mel Martinez, newcomer teen star Athalia Badere, and award-winning actress Sharmaine Arnaiz.
While a typical aswang of Philippine folklore is expected to scare us, this horror-comedy film led the audience to bursts of laughter. Effective in their roles are other cast members Magdalena Fox, Rosie Bagenben, Lester Tolentino, Benjie Rosales, Dawn Dupaya, GJ Dorado, and Chelsea Bon. This film is produced by the Amartha Entertainment Productions and the very funny screenplay was written by Jerome Zamora and directed by Ricky Rivero.
The storyline is very straightforward and well-executed by the talented actors and actresses.
D’ ASWANG SLAYERZ is recommended to give you that much-needed laugh with heartwarming lessons in life as well.
