Get ready, Australia and New Zealand! OPM icon and Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano is set to tour your region this March, bringing his signature style and energy to eager audiences.

With a career spanning over four decades, Gary V continues to draw crowds with his live shows. His 2024 performances at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, titled “Pure Energy: One Last Time,” were met with such enthusiasm that he added two more shows at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, “Pure Energy: One More Time,” in December.

“Expect to sing along to timeless hits, witness his signature high-energy dance moves, and feel every heartfelt moment as he takes you on a journey through his storied career,” promises organizers.

The tour then moves to Perth on March 21 for a show at the Regal Theatre, presented by Strictly Epic Productions.

Melbourne fans can anticipate a show on March 28 at Enjoy Church, where Gary will be accompanied by his longtime musical director, Mon Faustino, and a full band. Gary’s 2024 has been a year of significant recognition, highlighting his impact beyond his musical performances. In April, he received the Gawad Yamang Isip Award for Performing Arts from the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines, for his contributions to the arts and copyright advocacy. In July, People Asia Magazine presented him with the Legacy Award at the Men Who Matter event, where he also led a fundraising effort for victims of Super Typhoon Carina.

October saw Gary receive the Pilita Corrales Lifetime Achievement Award at the PMPC Star Awards for Music. He also won Best Collaboration at the 37th Awit Awards in December for “Walang Pumapalakpak,” a track with Gloc-9. And in November, Esquire Magazine named him Icon Of The Year.

“Well, the title of that collaboration aside, audience are sure to clap for him—and then some—when he heads Down Under,” organizers say. “After all, a Gary Valenciano show is an immersive experience filled with raw emotion, pure energy (get it?), and a whole lot of passion.”
