After a successful 47-week run, Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre concluded its highly anticipated journey on May 8, 2026, delivering a cinematic and emotionally charged finale that marked another major chapter in the enduring legacy of the Encantadia franchise.
Headlined by GMA Network’s Prime Gem Bianca Umali as Sang’gre Terra, alongside Faith da Silva as Sang’gre Flamarra, Angel Guardian as Sang’gre Deia, and Kelvin Miranda as Sang’gre Adamus, the New Generation Sang’gres ultimately fulfilled their destiny of defending Encantadia against the dark forces led by Mitena, portrayed by Rhian Ramos, and Gargan, played by Tom Rodriguez.
The finale week featured some of the series’ most intense and emotional moments as Gargan unleashed the Black Gem, causing the realm to descend into chaos. In a heartbreaking twist, the original Sang’gres—Pirena, Danaya, Alena, and Amihan, portrayed respectively by Glaiza de Castro, Sanya Lopez, Gabbi Garcia, and Kylie Padilla—were forced into battle against their successors, creating one of the franchise’s most unforgettable conflicts.
More than just a finale, the conclusion of “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre” celebrated a legacy built on magic, love, sacrifice, and heroism. The ending reinforced that the story of Encantadia is far from over, with the new generation prepared to continue protecting the realm cherished by longtime fans.
Throughout its run, the series maintained strong support from viewers both on-air and online, solidifying its place as one of GMA Network’s landmark fantasy productions.
