Entrepreneur Anna Magkawas makes runway debut at Mindanao Fashion Event

It feels surreal! Grabe yung kaba ko pero sobrang nakakaproud lalo na nung nakita ko yung mga kasama ko mag-ramp. Yung first time ko magsuot ng gown ni Mama Renee tapos salang agad sa runway!
(“It feels surreal! I was so nervous but incredibly proud, especially when I saw my fellow models on the runway. It was my first time wearing a gown by Mama Renee, and then straight onto the runway!”)
The invitation to model came as a surprise to Magkawas, who was approached by Okada’s VP of Marketing, Ms. Cielo. Recounting the moment, she admitted:
Nagulat nga ako kasi wala ako idea kung paano ba ang mangyayari basta sabi magmodel daw ako ng gown ni Mama Renee.
(“I was surprised because I had no idea what to expect, but they said I would be modeling a gown by Mama Renee.”)
Despite her hectic schedule, Magkawas managed to squeeze in fittings and rehearsals, making her debut a resounding success.
