After their inaugural successful Summer Show last March, Minted MNL has hosted a year-end event for collectors, held on November 22-23, 2025. This two-day show brought together enthusiasts of art, culture, fashion, and numismatics, emphasizing Minted MNL’s mission to make collecting more engaging and accessible to a diverse range of collectors.

This year-end show uniquely merged the worlds of fashion and numismatics, which seldom intersect. “We aimed to infuse fashion with numismatics this time. While they may seem worlds apart, they share a common thread: cultural expression. We want everyone to take pride in wearing modern Filipiniana in their daily lives while appreciating the rich culture of the Philippines,” stated Sigrid Carandang, founder of Minted MNL.

To bring this vision to life, Minted MNL partnered with the SOFA Design Institute, a highlight of this year’s show. “Fashion serves as a voice to amplify our goal of culture preservation. This year, we collaborated with SOFA Design Institute, featuring an exhibit from their Fashion Faculty that includes seven pieces of modern Filipiniana. SOFA also has a booth at the event,” she added.

In addition to showcasing fashion, Minted MNL ensured the event was family-friendly, catering not only to parents interested in numismatic exhibits but also to their children through a partnership with The Gaming Library. “They are major players in the board game scene in the Philippines, and they handled the kids’ activities. We wanted the children to enjoy the experience alongside their parents,” Sigrid explained.

The show also featured an impressive array of exhibits, with 60 exhibitors and eight distinct collector showcases, displaying pieces that had never been seen before.

A significant highlight was the participation of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), marking a memorable milestone for the numismatic industry. “For the first time, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas is featured at the show, which signifies their support for the numismatic industry. They’ve been backing it for a long time, but this visibility is new,” Sigrid shared.

Minted MNL remains committed to cultivating a new generation of collectors, as Sigrid emphasized, “Our goal is to introduce the collecting hobby to younger generations and children.”
As the numismatic industry continues to thrive through fresh collaborations and innovative approaches, we eagerly anticipate Minted MNL’s future shows and their passion for showcasing Filipino heritage through coins, fashion, creativity, and rare collections.
