FOR REAL: Yaya Dub Faints During KalyeSerye Segment #AlDubWeBelongTogether
We have to commend Wally Bayola (Lola Nidora), Jose Manalo (Frankie Arenolli), and Alden Richards for finishing today’s Kalyeserye segment on Eat Bulaga even when they had to go on without a script. Little did many AlDub fans and regular Dabarkads tuned in earlier, the much-awaited and worldwide-trending segment which was supposed to show Yaya Dub‘s (Maine Mendoza) wedding to Frankie Arenolli (Jose Manalo) was disrupted when Maine passed out right in front of the camera. As the newbie host/actress/Dubsmash queen shared on Twitter this morning, she hasn’t been feeling well today. This explains why at one point Wally mistakenly called Maine by her real name when he was trying to wake her up. Getting out of his character was probably out of panic. Eventually, Wally, Jose, and Alden, who arrived later, went on with the role playing and made up scenes out of the script. 🙂 As Yaya Dub shared on Instagram, it’s a good thing the wedding didn’t push through but the downside is that her supposed meeting in the flesh with Alden also didn’t happen.
