Go for Gold: Divine Lee Weds Blake Go, Says ‘I Do’ in a Gold Bridal Gown by Rajo Laurel

Last Saturday, multi-slashie (model-host-blogger-businesswoman) Divine Lee married businessman Blake Go in Cebu City. The celebrity bride was literally glowing in her golden bridal gown by her friend and trusted fashion designer Rajo Laurel.

Divine shared the story behind the decision to “go for gold” in one of her photo captions.

When we started planning for a dress. I refused to fit kasi, hello, memorize na naman ni @rajolaurel size ko. Kaya they call me #BriDEADMA. I only tried it once and everything was perfect. We decided not to do a white gown coz I would wear bridal gowns to events. We decided to go for gold ? tricky but we pulled it off!

A lot of thank yous are in order. Life is not perfect but having these guys around makes life good. I am overflowing with love ? must have done something right my past life to be given all these people. Friends are family we choose. I’m missing one Man of honor in the photo though, @officialtimyap who’s the best host ever! Thank you! All your speeches made me cry buckets. Pero mas marami paring luha si @mrdavidmilan. ? The invite maker said it must be the longest entourage list they had printed. Yesterday, I gave my groom the best gift ever. I gave him all these people who actually prepared me for “richer and poorer, in sickness and in health, for better and for worst, til death do us part”. Eh mantra na ng friendships namin yan. Yesterday, I gathered all these people close to my heart and officially shared them with Blake yesterday. PS. Guys, wala pa yung ninangs/ninongs dyan ha.
