Tagged as the Kapuso OST Princess, Hannah Precillas had a successful stint in Indonesia’s Dangdut Academy Asia 5 after winning 2nd runner-up in the singing competition. DAA Season 5 aired its finale last December 29.

The GMA Artist Center star represented the Philippines well in the international scene. She wowed the judges and gained international followers and fans with her singing prowess. Most of them are Indonesians.

Every week, Hannah was challenged to learn a song in Bahasa. Despite the difficulties (She cried several times over stress!) and challenges, she impressed the judges and the local audience as seen in the judges’ feedback and the audience’s reactions.

Among the 35 contestants from all over Asia,  Hannah consistently got top scores and reached the finals as the lone Filipino and female contestant.

“I always feel blessed for all the support. It’s a big accomplishment for me and it’s a great experience for me as a singer na ma-try din ‘yung ibang genre and to represent the Philippines s sa international stage.”

Hannah started out as the winner of GMA’s talent search Bet Ng Bayan in 2014. She is the voice behind the well-loved theme songs of GMA Entertainment programs like Hahamakin Ang Lahat, Kambal, Karibal, Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka, Kapag Nahati Ang Puso, and Onanay.
