Just weeks after being rushed to the hospital due to a medical emergency, Kapuso Global Fashion Icon Heart Evangelista once again made headlines as she returned to Paris Fashion Week. Heart flew to Europe to attend both Paris Fashion Week and Rome Fashion Week. According to the actress and TV host, her doctor had already given her the green light, allowing her to resume her international fashion commitments.

The timing was especially significant, as she had previously skipped Paris Men’s Fashion Week while recovering. This time, however, she was able to attend the recently concluded Paris Haute Couture Week Fall/Winter 2026-2027, held from July 6 to 9, where 30 fashion houses showcased their latest collections, including Matthieu Blazy’s highly anticipated second couture collection for Chanel.

On Instagram, Heart shared glimpses of the glamorous runway shows she attended, along with the hectic yet fun moments behind the scenes. She also posted a fitting session for Chanel, captioning it simply: “YOLO (You Only Live Once),” accompanied by emojis representing vitamin C, a medical syringe, and clinking wine glasses.
Following what she described as one of her biggest wake-up calls, Heart also revealed that she has become more selective about the events she attends during fashion week, choosing only those that truly matter to her.
Sharing a reflection on her hospitalization, Heart wrote: “I don’t like romanticizing certain situations but it was one of my hardest wake-up call. Health is wealth. Don’t work for the approval of others. Work for yourself. I am so done giving 200 percent just to please the ones who never liked you to begin with. I will work to make me happy and for my own personal purpose.”

While Heart’s impeccable style continued to generate buzz among fashion enthusiasts and industry insiders, what stood out just as much was her warmth and genuine personality.
One of her most talked-about encounters was with Thai viral sensation Aon Somrutai, the luxury and lifestyle influencer, entrepreneur, and content creator known for her signature catchphrase, “Thank you, Kateyki.”
In a video shared by Heart, the two instantly connected, exchanging hugs, laughter, and heartfelt compliments. The same Instagram reel also captured Heart warmly interacting with her team, fellow attendees, photographers, and supporters, highlighting the easy rapport she shares with the people around her.

Heart also crossed paths with several international personalities during Paris Fashion Week, including Davika Hoorne, Becca Bloom, and Ashley Park.
Beyond attending the shows, Heart was also seen fitting a gown by celebrated French couturier Stéphane Rolland, whose creations have been worn by some of the world’s biggest celebrities. She likewise brought along pieces from her own jewelry collection, featuring gemstone designs that have been gaining attention among fashion influencers.

Before heading to Paris, Heart attended Max Mara’s 75th anniversary celebration in Shanghai, China, where she joined international stars including Katie Holmes and Michelle Yeoh.
Although she’s currently in Europe embracing one of her biggest passions, Filipino viewers continue to see Heart’s wit and charm every week as host of GMA Network’s game show The People Have Spoken.
Heart’s continued success on the global fashion stage remains a milestone not only for her career but also for the Philippines, as she continues to represent the country among the world’s biggest names in fashion.
