According to Evangelista’s fans, negative posts targeting the influencer have appeared in rapid succession across multiple platforms, suggesting what they describe as a synchronized effort to discredit her image both to the public and to local and international brands that frequently collaborate with her.
They allege that the volume and timing of the posts show signs of planning rather than ordinary online criticism. Several accounts involved in spreading the claims reportedly have questionable profiles, with little to no followers and lacking identifiable information.
Fans also pushed back against attempts to drag Evangelista into political or national issues, noting that she had long established herself in show business and brand endorsements even before marrying Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero. They pointed to her track record as an actress, entrepreneur, and long-time ambassador for major brands, as well as her family’s business background.
Supporters further defended Evangelista’s online presence, saying she has been transparent about her work as a fashion influencer and open about her personal highs and lows on social media.
One of the issues that recently circulated involves the cost of her Paraiba ring, which some posts claimed to be worth ₱56 million.
