The roar of engines and the camaraderie of thousands echoed through Luzon as Honda Philippines, Inc. hosted its 4th Honda Riders’ Convention after the pandemic. This was a powerful display of the bond between a brand and its loyal community.
A Sea of Passion
Young and seasoned riders and ethusiasts from all corners of Luzon proudly showcased their Honda rides, creating a celebration of the joy of riding and the pride of owning a Honda motorcycle. This overwhelming turnout solidified Honda’s position as the leading motorcycle manufacturer in the Philippines.
More Than Just Motorcycles
The convention offered a range of activities beyond admiring bikes. Trade partners provided exclusive discounts on gear and accessories, while attendees enjoyed booth games and outdoor activities. Riders even had access to free massages, a welcome treat after their journeys.
Recognizing Community and Safety
Honda took the opportunity to acknowledge the Honda Club Presidents for their dedication to road safety and fostering a strong community among riders. These leaders engaged in an open discussion with Honda executives, further strengthening the relationship between the company and its riders. Adding to this, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) presented Honda with a citation for its commitment to promoting road safety.
Excitement On and Off the Track
In a display of Honda’s diverse offerings, Ms. Sayaka Arai, Honda’s president, joined legendary off-road rider coach Mr. Jovie Saulog and rising motocross star Sharlet Gallarde for a thrilling test ride of the Honda CRF125F. The excitement extended beyond the convention, as Honda donated two CRF125F units to The Forest Crest Nature Resort & Hotel to enhance their trail adventure site.
A Festival of Fun
The main program was packed with energy, featuring engaging stage games and even a dating game with PVL player Michelle Gumabao. Attendees had the chance to win numerous raffle prizes, including Honda Power Products and the grand prize – a Honda CB500F Big Bike! The day culminated with a performance by the popular band Orange & Lemons.
A Look Towards the Future
The convention also served as a platform to showcase Honda’s latest innovations, including The New CLICK160 and the groundbreaking all-new EM1e, the brand’s first Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV).
This event was a symbol of Honda’s dedication to its community and a promise to continue delivering exceptional experiences for riders.
