February was off to a good start as the Digital Artists First Community Mic Series was held at the Pub and Grill Cafe in Mandaluyong City, broadcast live over social media platforms.

It was a night of fun-filled music and a showcase of different kinds of musical talent as Jan B Entertainment NYC headed by Jeanette Torres-Bocobo, managing partner Eytch Angeles, and Executive Partner Rolly Pagaspas officially launched their roster of talents. Featured in the Community Mic Series are performances from Eytch (all the way from the US) and otherr fresh digital artists Almyn, Chelle, Boyong, and Ashley.

Chelle’s performance was one of my personal favorites:

Jan B Entertainment aims to provide opportunities to fresh talents. “We put these chosen digital artists in a cluster, forming our music family and from here, built our Digital Artists Community,” Bocobo said. She said they aim to hone their talents’ musical abilities and gear them up for the world stage.

A lot of their talents were discovered through a digital app for music enthusiasts and field practitioners. Jan B Entertainment NYC has paved the way for these artists to enter the mainstream scene.
