Organizing events, expecially those that celebrate major milestones in life, is no easy task. With all the nitty gritty, one of the make-or-break aspects of it is finding the right host to capture (and sustain!) your audience’s attention.
Today, we’ll share with you random bits of information from one of Manila’s sought-after hosts, Jazper Tiongson. Let me correct that, Jaz, as he is fondly called, is actually a host-singer-model-performer. To add to that, our multi-slashie host is also a media consultant for an international kids’ channel. It’s no surprise he’s a ball of energy! 🙂

Hosting history
I started with small family gatherings. Then I hosted our school programs (high school) like our intramurals, school contests and the like. I got some exposure outside our school when I got involved in inter-school organizations. From there I was invited to even host in other schools’ activities.
In UP Diliman (college), I got to host rock concerts and other activities in campus. I also got invited to host for other schools’ orientation programs and what have you. It was the time I started getting paid for hosting some debuts, battle of the bands, pageants, etc. Things were on a roll since then.
Now, bookings come from people I worked with before, referrals from here and there, event agencies and even online via Facebook, Instagram and my website.
