JM De Guzman & Nico Antonio: Best Supporting Actor Nominees in the US for ‘Tandem’
Despite being on a hiatus from showbiz for personal reasons, JM De Guzman gets his much-deserved recognition again for his performance in an independent film entitled Tandem. He is nominated for the Best Supporting Actor award at the 49th Worldfest Houston International Film Festival together with his co-actor Nico Antonio. Nico rose to fame with his endearing role as “Tolayts” in the hit Kapamilya primetime series On the Wings of Love. Both actors are Star Magic talents.
Tandem was directed by King Palisoc and the story revolves around the journey of two brothers working together as low-level thieves and eventually moved on to becoming high-profile hit men. The film was part of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2015 New Wave category and JM bagged the Best Actor award.
