Popular K-pop girl group 2NE1 announced on Friday (Nov. 25, 2016) that they are now officially disbanded. The group was composed of Sandara “Dara” Park, CL, Park Bom, and Minzy. Probably their most popular hit, their 2009 debut single “Fire” has opened up opportunities for them to go international.
It was Minzy who first left the group earlier this year, while their management group, YG Entertainment, also recently decided to let go of the other member Park Bom. Both Dara and CL will continue as contract artists under YG Entertainment.
No wonder Dara said she was sad in the November 26, 2016 episode of Pinoy Boyband Superstar (where she regularly appears as one of the judges).
