We are so happy for Karylle Padilla because her new show, The Kitchen Musical (a Singaporean production with a pan-Asian cast), was well received by Philippine viewers when its pilot episode aired last Sunday. Succeeding episodes will air on Saturdays, 7:30 p.m. beginning October 8 on Studio 23.
Karylle looks so pretty these days, and her voice (goes without saying) is phenomenal. We heard that she and the other cast members had to attend a kitchen boot camp to prepare themselves for their roles as chefs. With Karylle in the show are: Christian Bautista who plays the role of a sous chef; actor Stephen Rahman Hughes as the autocratic head chef; Rosemary Vanderbroucke as a sexy sommelier; French model Alex Marcus, and two other Pinoy theatre actors, Ikey Canoy and Thou Reyes.

Okay maybe it’s just us who are not yet over the Dingdong Dantes Disaster. We still don’t understand how the latter could have let go of his beautiful, classy girlfriend (Lol. We’re not saying another word!) But we’re just glad that everything is working for Karylle nowadays, and she’s now on her way to international stardom!
