Co-written by Benedict Mique and Hannah Cruz, the film delves into the personal, professional, and cultural struggles faced by a young couple seeking a better life abroad.
Featuring a mix of well-known Filipino actors and Canada-based talents, including beauty queen Bea Rose Santiago, “Maple Leaf Dreams” authentically captures the Filipino-Canadian experience. Eighty percent of the film was shot on location, showcasing iconic Canadian landmarks like Niagara Falls and the CN Tower.
