LOOK: Beauty Gonzalez’s daughter Olivia Crisologo makes acting debut in movie ‘Paquil’
“Paquil” is a film that unfolds slowly, deliberately. Its power isn’t in explosive revelations or dialogues but in the performances of its cast. JM De Guzman and Beauty Gonzalez, both known for their acting prowesses, deliver convincing portrayals. And a delightful addition and surprise is Olivia Crisologo, Beauty’s daughter in real life, who makes her acting debut in the film.

In the blood
Olivia plays the younger version of her mother’s character, Christina. Beauty recounted her initial surprise at her daughter’s expanded role. “I agreed [to let her act] because I thought she would just be walking. When we got to the set, suddenly, there were lines, and then a little later, she had to cry!” Beauty said. She, along with her husband Norman Crisologo, was there to support Olivia.
“Oh my God, I was nervous, but thankfully, her Dad was there, her yaya, all of us supported her and she did very well.” Beauty added. “I didn’t expect her to get it so quickly. I think because I’ve been bringing her to tapings since she was a baby. She observes what I do.”
Olivia, a picture of a shy yet self-assured kid, shared with the press during the premiere night that hers was a DIY workshop as she practiced “crying” at home on her own. She sweetly smiled as she revealed how the experience was not difficult for her at all even if it meant crying in front of a camera!
