After establishing herself as a renowned DJ with numerous billboard appearances across Metro Manila, singer and cosplayer Debbie Lopez is now set to embark on a new chapter as an actress.

During her birthday celebration, which was attended by members of the press, Debbie performed her Visayan single, “Ang Higugmaon Ka.” She is also slated to record a song penned by acclaimed songwriter Mon del Rosario, who was present at the event.

Debbie shared that one of her birthday wishes is to pursue acting. She revealed that she has undergone an acting workshop with Ogie Diaz and was offered acting roles twice in the past. However, she initially hesitated. Now, she feels ready to embrace this new path.

She expressed her desire to be managed by Ogie Diaz, stating, “If given the opportunity, po, for Mama Ogie Diaz as a manager, po, I would gladly accept.” Alongside her acting ambitions, Debbie continues to thrive as a singer.

In terms of musical influences, she admires Rico Blanco and Ice Seguerra. Debbie shared, “Si Ice kasi po pang R&B, si Rico naman sa mga alternative. Hindi kasi ako pambirit, nandiyan lang ako sa mas chill lang,” highlighting her preference for mellow, laid-back music.

Despite her busy schedule as an artist, Debbie remains passionate about cosplaying. She recently surprised her family and friends with a dance performance while dressed as Keqing from Genshin Impact.

As she embraces this exciting new chapter, Debbie is ready to shine even brighter. We look forward to seeing her achieve her dreams.
