Sabi ko nga, lumaki kasi ako sa New York, Cubao. So, ‘yun ang asaran namin sa pamilya. ‘Uy, Ma, nakarating na ‘ko sa New York Times Square,'” this was GMA’s Primetime King Dingdong Dantes‘ reaction to his POLICE billboard at the famous landmark in New York City, USA. Dingdong is the first and only Filipino ambassador of the premium lifestyle brand celebrating its 40th anniversary. The GMA actor and host was officially launched last Thursday, May 25, at the SM Mall of Asia.

“I’m really, really proud to represent the brand hindi lang dito sa atin sa Pilipinas kung hindi na rin sa global stage,” Dingdong expressed his joy over this international endorsement. Well-deserved, we must say. With his longevity in the industry, Dingdong has proven himself in different aspects of the industry. Even his personal life as a father and husband is an open book. As we can see, he worked his way up from being Iñaki in the second-generation edition of ’90s youth-oriented show TGIS to becoming his home network’s king of the primetime block.

From doing successful lead roles in GMA’s primetime series, Dingdong also made a mark as a game show host with the undeniable success of the Philippine franchise of Family Feud. At the same time, he continues to make waves as an actor. Dingdong has Firefly and The Royal Blood as his upcoming movie and series, respectively.

Dingdong’s current brand endorsement is another feather in his cap. He joins Police’s stellar circle which has renowned Formula 1 superstar Lewis Hamilton as one of its brand ambassadors. In celebration of 40 years in business, the brand introduced its global campaign called #AudacityWanted. The objective of this campaign is to convey the message that being cool surpasses conforming to societal norms. It emphasizes that true masculinity doesn’t have to fit the stereotypical “macho” image. The latest collections of Police eyewear and Police watches exemplify this idea—an evolved style that retains its timeless appeal.

“Audacity Wanted perfectly embodies the soul and essence of POLICE which has been a trailblazer in the industry for the past 40 years. The brand has always been one step ahead and has perfectly been anchored on its timeless contemporary look Hopefully, this campaign imparts a message of being daring and taking their own path amongst consumers,” said Valentina Olivier, Asia Pacific Regional Marketing Head of De Rigo Vision.

POLICE Eyewear and Watches are available at Ideal Vision, Watch Republic and The SM Store nationwide. The collection is also available at https://policelifestyle.com/ww-en/dingdong-dantes-x-police-lp
