Italian design house Fornasetti, known for its surrealist aesthetic and timeless artistry, has made history by unveiling its first-ever celebrity collaboration, featuring Filipina actress-slash-global fashion content creator Heart Evangelista.

In a recent Instagram post by Paris-based photographer Juan Padilla, fans and followers were given an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the collaboration, set inside the elegant Casa Fornasetti in Milan, Italy. The photoshoot highlighted Fornasetti’s signature items – antique mirrors, whimsical art pieces, and opulent interiors. Evangelista was photographed amid the brand’s artistic universe.
The limited-edition Heart x Fornasetti collection includes 200 plates, 100 cups, and 100 coasters, each hand-painted and designed to merge Filipino artistry with Italian surrealism. According to Padilla, the project marks a milestone not only for Fornasetti but also for global art and fashion collaborations, as it is the first time the brand has partnered with a celebrity and opened its private space for a campaign shoot.
The collaboration was launched in partnership with Opulence Design Concept, a key player in bringing Fornasetti’s creations closer to Filipino collectors and design enthusiasts. The project celebrates craftsmanship, culture, and the intersection of contemporary fashion and heritage design.
Beyond the aesthetics, the collaboration showcases Fornasetti’s growing reach in Asia and its willingness to embrace cross-cultural creativity, reinterpreting its distinct Italian identity through new perspectives and artistic voices.
While much online chatter surrounded the Paraiba Tourmaline ring Evangelista wore during the shoot (with debates on how much it is and viral claims of it being worth millions of pesos!), the true highlight remains the artistry and vision behind Heart x Fornasetti. It is a partnership that bridges distance and culture-based creativity in one exquisite collection.
