Brilliant Skin Essentials hosted a grand celebration to announce that vlogger-actress Ivana Alawi is once again the face of its facial care line, renewing a partnership that first began in 2020. The actress and internet personality officially rejoined the brand during a contract-signing event held Sunday, January 18 at Novotel in Quezon City.
At the ceremony, Brilliant Skin Essentials COO Shed Garcia expressed her gratitude to everyone who joined the celebration, noting the effort some made to attend from afar. “Maraming salamat po sa paglalaan nyo ng oras upang makasama kami dito sa special day na ito, lalo na sa mga may flight pa kagabi po.” She also highlighted the significance of Ivana’s return and the brand’s expansion. She added, “Today is truly special because this marks a beautiful return to brilliance and we will officially welcome back our comeback endorser. Having you back with us truly feels like coming home, and we are excited to begin this new chapter together. And today is also about growth and expansion. We are proud and excited to officially sign the contract of our new regional distributors.”
Shed ended her speech with, “And together, we are ready to move forward, grow stronger, and make Brilliant Skin Essentials shine brighter than ever. Welcome to today’s event, and welcome to the next era of Brilliant Skin Essentials.”
Ivana shared her happiness about rejoining the Brilliant Skin family and praised longtime supporters, “Napakasaya ko and syempre, Ms. Glenda, maraming, maraming salamat. I’m very, very happy to be back sa Brilliant Skin family. Marami kaming values na shineshare na same talaga. Si Ms. Glenda, napakabait po ng puso niyan. Marami pa kaming pasabog.” She reassured her supporters and Brilliant Skin Essentials users.
When asked why the brand brought Ivana back, Brilliant Skin Essentials CEO Glenda Dela Cruz pointed to the actress’s strong presence and the timing of the reunion. She detailed, “S’yempre alam naman nating lahat na si Ivana ngayon talagang maingay, talagang malakas. ‘Tsaka sabi ko, it’s time naman siguro na bumalik ka naman sa’min.” She continued, “Sabi ko nga sa TikTok hindi ako pumapayag na hindi ako number one. So grabeng pasabog [ito].”
The returning ambassador and internet sensatiom also addressed her supporters with a promise for the partnership, “[Ang] Message ko po ay promise gagalingan ko po ngayon. Mapapasaya ko kayo kasi magpapasabog talaga kami. Number one ang Brilliant Skin!”
Separately, after the contract signing, Ivana gave updates about her current projects and scheduling. She explained that heavy taping for her teleserye has led her to slightly reduce vlog uploads for the time being. “Mababawasan po nang very light ‘yung vlog kasi ang hirap mag-taping and ang hirap mag-vlog, ang hirap ipagsabay nung dalawa,” she said. “Priority ko pa rin naman sa ngayon na tapusin ‘yung teleserye.”
She also gave candid anecdotes about a major kissing scene with co-star Joshua Garcia, describing the intensity of their final moments together. “Naku, ‘yung last scene namin! Grabe pala siya, oo, higop king! Grabe! ’Yun ‘yung last scene namin,” she shared, laughing.
On being surprised by her co-star’s intensity, Ivana recalled and re-enacted her reaction. “Hindi ko alam kaya nga sinabi ko sa kanya, ‘Grabe ka naman!’ Sabi niya, ‘Humigop ba?’ Grabe,” she said.
Despite the onset chemistry, Ivana reiterated that professionalism guided their work. “Syempre crush ko ’yun!,” she admitted, but with a quick clarification. “Pero professional pa rin.”
Brilliant Skin Essentials says Ivana’s reappearance as ambassador marks the start of a renewed phase focused on innovation, visibility, and deeper engagement with fans and customers.
