LOOK: Levi’s® merges global art icons Disney and Keith Haring in latest customizable collection
Nothing beats the feeling of being able to fully express yourself. When it comes to fashion, personalizing clothing pieces makes them special.
That is exactly what international fashion brand Levi’s let its consumers experience with its latest collaboration. Levi’s buyers can now wear and customize Keith Haring’s Disney Mickey Mouse artwork for the very first time.
Making the masterpieces
It’s hard to imagine a contemporary artist with a more recognizable style than Keith Haring. His colorful, images are iconic not only throughout the art world, but in pop culture as well. And of course, there’s no bigger pop cultural icon than Disney’s Mickey Mouse. When Levi’s® found out original Disney Mickey Mouse artwork by legendary artist Keith Haring would be made available for the very first time ever, it was a collaboration the brand couldn’t resist.

Introducing Disney Mickey Mouse x Keith Haring’s customizable collection by Levi’s® for Spring/Summer 2021.
Deeply influenced by the American cartoonists from his childhood, Keith Haring developed a fondness and respect for Walt Disney, especially Disney’s beloved Mickey Mouse character. By the 1980s, Haring had created his own original works of art featuring Disney’s Mickey Mouse in a new style that was unique to New York City street culture.
Featuring graphics from Haring’s eye-catching Disney Mickey Mouse art, the collection includes a range of customization options for Levi’s® tees, and Trucker Jackets. For both Levi’s® and Disney, it’s a historic collection, one that celebrates the bold and expressive aesthetic not only of Haring’s art, but of his personal style as well. A style that mixed street wear with art studio, that paired classic tees with paint splattered creativity.

Customization options include a selection of Haring’s artwork featuring Disney’s Mickey Mouse that can be printed onto tees in a range of layouts and color combinations, available at the Levi’s® Print Bar in The SM Store SM Makati. And at Levi’s® Tailor Shops in Robinsons Place Manila and The SM Store SM Makati —there’s the option to customize Levi’s® Trucker Jackets with seven different graphic back panel options, and collar and trim fabric featuring some of Haring’s most enduring symbols and imagery.
