Vice Ganda had words of wisdom to share with today’s social media content creators, specifically Youtubers. This happened a week ago, September 12, Sunday in “Everybody, Sing!”
In the said episode, Vice, while dressed up as Charo Santos, told the songbayanan to strive to produce and upload positive content for their viewers and not focus so much on virality and monetization.
“Sana isaisip din natin kung ‘yung nilalabas nating content kahit papano, kahit paminsan-minsan, may positivity ba doon sa content na ‘yun ‘di ba,” said the unkabogable host and actor.
He also added, “Masaya ‘yung monetization but it shouldn’t always be monetization ang purpose natin ‘di ba?
Currently, Vice is also a content creator himself and has 5.85 million subscribers on YouTube. After hearing the story of fellow creators Aga and Jai (aka JaiGa), who have received negative comments on social media, Vice said they should not be swayed or bullied by bashers.
“The possibility with well-known people is to be misinterpreted.
Catch Vice Ganda and the different stories of contestants and sing along with them on Saturdays and Sundays via “Everybody, Sing.” The show airs at 7 pm on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, Kapamilya Online Live, TFC, and iWantTFC.
