Through the official Facebook page of Wowowin, Revillame held a mini press launch. “Ngayong araw na ‘to ho, I just want to welcome you sa aking bagong tahanan, ang bagong network para sa inyo.”

Revillame led in a video that presented AMBS Channel 2 and later welcomed the members of his new “family” — AMBS President Maribeth C. Tolentino and General Counsel Atty. TJ Mendoza. Official contract signing eventually took place.

In case you missed it, AMBS stands for Advanced Media Broadcasting System. Business tycoon and former senator Manny Villar is said to own the network. AMBS’ radio station DWKX 103.5, based in Mandaluyong City, has been broadcasting since December 1979.
