Magic Mike-inspired male group Magic Voyz launches debut single ‘Wag Mo Akong Titigan’
From the iconic Hagibis to the sensational Masculados, and now to the current generation of Gen-Z heartthrobs, all-male groups have consistently captivated audiences for decades. Singing and dancing groups continue to have a strong market, proving their enduring appeal. Adding to this legacy, the all-male group Magic Voyz was launched at Viva Café on Tuesday night, and their debut single “Wag Mo Akong Titigan” (Don’t Stare at Me), as explained by member Johan, captures the feeling of having a crush on someone from afar and the awkwardness when they catch you staring.
They are under the management of Viva Records and LDG Productions. Live viewers seemed to have been charmed by the boys, gauging from the reactions. The group consists of seven members: Jhon Mark Marcia, Juan Paulo Calma, Mhack Morales, Rave Obado, Jace Ramos, Ian Briones, and Johan Shane.
As newbies to performing, Magic Voyz still have a lot of potential to develop. Jhon Mark, Juan Paulo Calma, and Mhack Morales have already starred in Vivamax films. Jace and Johan are the vocal powerhouses. The two stood out when they sang “Maybe This Time” at the launch.

During the group’s launch, the music video for their first single, “Wag Mo Akong Titigan” (Don’t Stare at Me), was unveiled. The lyrics are pretty catchy and the sound is easy to listen to. Meanwhile, their talent manager, Lito de Guzman, is extremely happy about the launch of Magic Voyz. Lito expressed missing how he used to handle groups. He was the manager of the popular groups “Baywalk Bodies,” “Wonder Gays,” “Milkmen,” and “Batchmates.” Lito said in the vernacular, “I miss managing a group again. Singing and dancing are truly my challenges in life. I see that boy groups are popular now. So, I thought, why not train boys who have already led in movies?”
“I want their taking off their clothes to have a purpose and to showcase their versatility. The packaging is a sexy actor, but they have talent, they can sing, and dance aside from acting,” added the talent manager. Why did he choose the name Magic Voyz for the group? “The name is inspired by Magic Mike,” said Lito. The boys said they are merging their daring moves and performance skills in their brand.
