Maja Salvador renews partnership with Beautéderm, launched as the new face of Blanc Pro set
Beautéderm President and CEO Rhea Anicoche-Tan has long been celebrated for her generous treatment of the brand’s endorsers, often going above and beyond standard contractual obligations. This dedication has cultivated a unique atmosphere where endorsers feel like genuine members of the Beautéderm family. This close-knit approach has built long-lasting relationships over time.

Proof of Continuing Partnership
Maja Salvador, a dance and acting icon in the Philippines, has just solidified her four-year association with Beautéderm by renewing her contract. The signing event occurred at Solaire North in Quezon City, marking another chapter in her role with the rising beauty and wellness company. This ongoing relationship highlights the mutual appreciation and success both parties have experienced.

New Perspectives on Endorsements
Beautéderm CEO Rhea Tan shared a shift in her approach to contract renewals. She openly stated that renewals are no longer automatically granted. “I’ve changed! Before, I used to renew everyone. That’s the truth!” she admitted during a media briefing. Tan clarified that while she values her brand ambassadors, their active promotion of the products now plays a crucial role in her decision-making process. “Of course, I love them. But of course, I paid them, right?” she remarked, emphasizing the business aspect of these partnerships. Now, she relies on her team’s evaluation of an endorser’s engagement and effectiveness.

“If they don’t post and their posts aren’t effective, goodbye!” Tan declared, acknowledging her past tendency to be overly sentimental but affirming her evolution into a more business-focused leader, a change she credits in part to her interactions with Maja. “Maja also taught me. I used to be too emotional. Too attached to my endorsers. Now, I’ve changed. We’re different now. Empowered women!”

Genuine Belief in the Brand
Maja Salvador expressed her sincere appreciation for Beautéderm, emphasizing the positive impact it has had not only on her career but also on the lives of many women. “I always tell Manang, like in the song, ‘With Beautéderm, your life will become beautiful’—it’s not just the distributors whose lives become beautiful, the real thing is—even your skin really does,” Maja shared. She proudly revealed that her connection with the brand predates her endorsement.
“Even before Manang asked me, before I became a Beautéderm endorser, I was already using Beautéderm.” Now a wife and mother, Maja continues to rely on Beautéderm for her skincare needs. “With Beautéderm, you know it’s the best partner for mothers like me or for all of us women,” she affirmed, playfully adding, “So, you can see, I don’t even need to speak. Just look at me now.”
A Bond Beyond Business
The relationship between Maja and Rhea extends beyond professional obligations, rooted in a genuine connection. Maja believes their shared Ilokano heritage contributes to their special bond. “With Manang, maybe [because] we’re both Ilokana, it feels like—others might think, ‘Maybe they’re just putting on a show, they became close too quickly!’ Something like that! But no. It’s real,” she explained. Their connection has deepened over the years, with Rhea becoming a godmother at Maja’s wedding. “She’s more than my boss, so she’s truly like an older sister to me,” Maja stated. Maja continues to promote Beautéderm’s Blanc Set, a popular skincare line targeting acne, hyperpigmentation, and signs of aging, featuring ingredients like Tretinoin and Hydroquinone. The brand also highlights its Cristaux Vitamin C serum, designed to diminish dark spots, blemishes, and sun damage while hydrating the skin. These products are widely accessible through various online platforms and Beautéderm stores nationwide.
Balancing Life and Career
Maja Salvador admitted to being a workaholic in the past but has since reprioritized her life after marrying Rambo Nuñez and welcoming their daughter, Maria. She considers her husband and daughter to be significant sources of motivation. “Maria plays a big role in who I am now because she completed my womanhood. She completes my dreams. It’s always Maria. In every job, my dressing room needs to be a bit bigger because I bring Maria along,” she shared.
Reflecting on her shift in lifestyle, Maja added, “My priorities, my decisions in life, I just look at Maria, and it’s like the answer is already there.” The accomplished dancer also spoke about experiencing “mom guilt” when preparing to return to the variety show “ASAP.” “As a first-time mom, she (Maria) was almost six months old during my first appearance on ‘ASAP.’ I had some hesitation because I was really enjoying being a mom. But I also missed dancing. I also talked to Rambo. I prepared for almost two weeks, and I would leave her for six hours, and I felt really super guilty. That ‘mom guilt’ is really true,” she confessed.

Motherhood has profoundly impacted Maja’s perspective, giving her a newfound appreciation for her own mother. “Now that I have Maria, my admiration for my mother has grown so much. Even before, I already respected her deeply because she was a single mom, but now that I have Maria and have experienced being a mommy, I look up to her even more,” she expressed.
Regarding concerns about her fame after a break from the spotlight, Maja expressed gratitude for her supporters. “It’s not that I was afraid. Even without a teleserye or movie, social media is already a big thing. I wasn’t afraid because I guess I was ready to be a mother and a wife. I prayed for a long time to have my own family and to be a mother, and it was given to me. I’m just really lucky that there are still people who trust me. What I miss the most is acting.” During the event, Maja repeatedly expressed her thanks to Rhea Tan for her support as both a friend and godmother.
