‘MayWard’ is back together in Star Cinema’s first 2021 offering ‘Princess DayaReese’
After the long wait, phenomenal Kapamilya loveteam MayWard is back. Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber topbill Star Cinema‘s opening salvo for 2021, romantic comedy movie Princess DayaReese.
Princess DayaReese relays the story of Reese (Maymay Entrata) who dreams of a royal lifestyle and opportunity comes through Princess Ulap (also played by her), a runaway princess from Oro Kingdom who looks just like her.
Reese and Princess Ulap will switch places for 40 days as the former flies to Ulap’s kingdom where she meets Caleb (Edward Barber), a young and dedicated reporter who is set to discover the truth about the kingdom. The man in search of truth develops feelings and falls in love with the fake princess.
Directed by Barry Gonzalez, ‘Princess DayaReese’ is a film about new beginnings, new chances, and new learnings. It serves as the reunion project of Maymay, Edward, and Direk Barry, after the Metro Manila Film Festival 2018 hit entry ‘Fantastica.’
Also starring in the movie are Miko Penaloza, Big Mac Andaya, Takuhei Kaneko, Gold Azeron, Neil Coleta, Iggy Boy Flores, Alora Sasam, Christine Samson, Chie Filomeno, Pepe Herrera, Epy Quizon, and Rise Artists Studio’s CJ Salonga, with the special participation of Snooky Serna.
‘Princess DayaReese’ streams worldwide beginning today, 1.1 (January 1, 2021) on ktx.ph, iWant TFC, TFC IPTV, Cignal pay-per-view, and SKY pay-per-view. Tickets are available for PHP150.
