The Philippines has long been a breeding ground for beauty queens. From small towns to big cities, aspiring Filipinas continue to chase their dreams on the pageant stage, earning support with their grace, intelligence, and national pride. This year, Miss Supermodel Worldwide Philippines embarks on a new chapter, seeking the next Filipina to represent the country on the international stage.

A New Generation of Supermodels

On December 7, the Miss Supermodel Worldwide Philippines organization held an intimate sashing ceremony, introducing eleven of the twenty candidates vying for the coveted crown. These young women, hailing from diverse backgrounds across the archipelago, exuded confidence and charisma as they faced the eager press.

“We are very excited to share with you our journey. As you all know, we are technically a newbie in terms of the pageantry. Miss Supermodel Worldwide Philippines is only four years old and next year will be our fourth installation for this competition,” shared Ronn Litao, Sales & Marketing Director of Miss Supermodel Worldwide Philippines. He emphasized the unique blend of modeling and pageantry that defines the competition, stating, “It is a modeling competition, but we also embody the spirit of pageantry as we want to make sure that all our candidates will be able to express themselves and provide meaningful causes for all of their advocacies.”

Empowering Aspiring Beauty Queens

Recognizing the potential of its contestants, the organization is committed to nurturing their growth, even those new to the world of pageantry. “Some of our 2025 delegates are first-time participants in pageantry and the modeling industry,” Litao revealed, highlighting the organization’s dedication to helping these aspiring supermodels and beauty queens flourish.

The remaining contestants will be revealed in the coming weeks, adding to the excitement and anticipation surrounding the competition.

Expanding Horizons

The Miss Supermodel Worldwide Philippines organization has ambitious plans for the future, including the launch of a regional franchise and a Miss Teen Supermodel Worldwide Philippines category. Litao explained, “We are also very excited to share with you that for 2025, 2026 we are launching our regional franchise for our Miss Supermodel (Worldwide) Philippines. This is part of our efforts to reach farther locations, or farther provinces in the Philippines so they can also join our competition.” He added, “Miss Supermodel (Worldwide) Philippines will also launch Miss Teen Supermodel Worldwide Philippines. Within the competition, all of our delegates that are technically teenagers will also compete for another title, which is the Miss Teen Supermodel Worldwide.”

Bringing the World to the Philippines

In a historic move, the Philippines will host the 2025 Miss Supermodel Worldwide international pageant, marking the first time the competition will be held outside of India. Litao expressed his pride, stating, “We are privileged to actually host the international competition of Miss Supermodel Worldwide in March of 2025. It’s actually the first for this franchise to bring out the competition outside of its mother home, India. Tayo ang kauna-unahang bansa that they trusted that we could mount the international event.”
