This summer, Sinagtala Production introduces “Sinagtala,” a film directed by Mike Sandejas that delves into the diverse lives and struggles of musicians. Featuring Glaiza de Castro, Rhian Ramos, Arci Muñoz, Rayver Cruz, and Matt Lozano, the film promises a journey that will leave a lasting impression.

Sinagtala’ shares the narratives of “Reggie,” “Paola,” “June,” “Isko,” and “Carla,” revealing their struggles and triumphs as they strive to succeed both as a band and as individuals within a close-knit circle.
A Director’s Passion Project
Rayver Cruz highlighted the personal investment of director Mike Sandejas in the film. “Talgang baby ni direk Mike tong movie and we’re very excited na kasama namin kayong lahat,” he stated at the “Sinagtala” press conference on March 11, 2025, at Seda Hotel. This project clearly holds a special place for the director.

Anticipation and Emotional Depth
Rhian Ramos expressed her eagerness for the film’s release, emphasizing its emotional impact. “Sana po magustuhan niyo siya kasi kahit ilang beses ko na nakita yung trailer na yun tumayo nanaman yung balahibo ko, kasi napaka importante po yung meaning ng movie na ito para sa amin and we think marami din siyang matotouch na lives,” she shared. The trailer alone has evoked strong emotional responses, suggesting a film that resonates deeply.
Heartfelt Storytelling and Life-Changing Potential
Arci Muñoz praised the film’s narrative and the director’s artistry. “You really did a great job, Direk Mike. When I got the script, it’s really beautiful and I’m also proud na ginawa namin to and I hope na we can touch so many lives and also we’ll be able to save lives after this,” she said. She believes “Sinagtala” possesses a story with the power to make a real difference.

A Collective Sense of Pride
Matt Lozano echoed the sentiment of touching hearts. “Direk, ito pong pelikula niyo ay maraming matotouch na heart, kaya banagn po natin ang Sinagtala,” he declared, expressing confidence in the film’s ability to connect with audiences.
A Cast Destined to Be Together
Glaiza de Castro, the film’s lead, spoke of the project’s significance and the cast’s connection. “Proud ako sa pelikula na ito, proudf ako sa mga kasama ko dito kasi mineant talaga ni Lord na mabuo kaming lima,” she revealed. Despite other stars being considered, the current cast was ultimately chosen, suggesting a sense of destiny.
“Sinagtala,” directed by Mike Sandejas, will premiere in cinemas nationwide on April 2.
