MUST-WATCH: Ken Chan’s Videoke Covers at the ‘My Destiny’ Concert BlogCon
Things have definitely turned around for Ken Chan‘s showbiz career after his successful portrayal of a transgender in the hit afternoon series Destiny Rose. Ken’s acting stint must have been so empowering and effective that viewers seem to find it difficult to detach him from the character long after the show has ended. During a bloggers’ conference for his upcoming concert My Destiny, the GMA artist shared that Destiny Rose made such a huge impact that his management has been getting numerous offers for him still related to it. While this is considered as a blessing (and the best compliment aside from an international acting award nomination), there is also a need for Ken Chan to grow as an artist. We believe that this next step he’s about to conquer just might make a difference – a solo concert for him to showcase his singing and dancing skills. The other side of this talented and down-to-earth star deserves to get the spotlight.

When we asked Ken about his educational background and found out that he’s taking up Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management at the De La Salle-College of St. Benilde, we soon discovered he and the phenomenal “Yaya Dub” Maine Mendoza are former classmates (Maine graduated from Benilde with the same course in 2015). The two were united as they shared some scenes in the currently showing AlDub film, Imagine You and Me.
