P-Pop is definitely on the rise!
Last November 28, 2022, new P-pop girl group BLVCK Ace under the management of BLVCK Entertainment launched a new track Pasko Na Naman perfect for the holiday season. The girl group is made up 5 female members, namely, Anasity, Ely, Rhen, Jea, and Twinkle.

The name of the group BLVCK Ace came from two words “Black” that was from the name of
their talent management Black Entertainment and the word “Ace” that was derived from the
name of their manager and also the CEO of the talent management, Engr. Grace Cristobal. Their group name also coincidentally means Black for strong power and Ace that stands for the Aces of the BLVCK Entertainment.

“From the name itself na BLVCK Ace, from BLVCK Entertainment kaya andun din yung BLVCK
and Ace derived from my name itself. So si Ace ay galing sa Grace na more actually pag sinabi
nating Ace bali siya yung alas natin, so sila yung pinaka unang una naming nilaunch na group
or mga artists ng BLVCK Entertainment kaya naging BLVCK Ace,” said Engr. Grace Cristobal.

According to Engr. Cristobal, the team launched a series of auditions for aspiring artists. The girls, according to her, bested other talents because of their passion, good attitude, and
confidence to be the best as a part of the group.

“Hindi kami nagbase dun sa kung magaling yung tao, magaling kumanta or marunong, ang
importante ay yung marunong sumunod kasi sabi ko nga walang mahinang tao basta ikaw
pursigido kang matuto, lahat puwede mong gawin,” Engr. Cristobal said.

“Actually po wala po kaming mga roles, kasi gusto po ng management namin na pantay pantay
po kami. And we are as a group po lahat po kami may kanya kanyang talent. Talented po kami
lahat mapa dance, sing, acting, lahat po dahil andito din po yung BLVCK Entertainment our
management para hasain pa po yung iba naming talent and magimprove pa po so we don’t
apply roles po kasi we can be singer, dancer, anything kasi po flexible po kami sa lahat.” BLVCK Ace member Ely said.

BLVCK Ace initially launched the song “Pasahero” as a tribute to all the
reliable taxi, jeepney, motorcycle, and transport service drivers who have dedicated their lives
with their work in bringing us safely to our destinations. Whereas in real life aspects, the driver
signifies as a friend and the pasahero is the one who needs a hand or company during their
hardships and challenges.

“Pasahero” is now available on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Amazon, Deezer, Medianet,
Boomplay, Youtube Music, and other streaming platforms that were produced by BLVCK Music.
