As of this writing, there’s still no word yet if the billboards that cropped up in the metro (particularly in busy EDSA) bearing the question, “Olivia, will you marry me?,” are legitimate or not. Curious motorists and commuters resort to posing questions on social media that created an online buzz in such a short time.
Left with no clues, it’s so hard to guess if this is just a marketing execution. Our instincts tell us it is by mentally estimating the cost of those billboard placements and the use of typically distinct brand colors red, yellow, and white. 🙂 But, who knows? Your guess is just as good as ours.
We can only wait for Olivia to reveal herself soon.Update (02/14/14): Actor John Prats denied on Bandila that he’s responsible for the EDSA billboards. Some people were speculating that this was his proposal to actress-girlfriend Isabel Oli.Update (02/19/14): OLIVIA SAID YES!
