Viva Movie Box introduces a vertical video format featuring serialized stories told through “micro-dramas” — episodes lasting just one to two minutes each. Designed for quick and captivating viewing, the platform targets younger, digitally native audiences accustomed to scrolling through short-form content on social media.

The platform’s diverse lineup spans romance, family drama, camp-style storytelling, and adult-themed narratives, all built around a condensed soap opera format. Each series is crafted to maintain high emotional intensity and rapid story progression, perfectly suited for the short-form mobile experience.

Subscribers can enjoy unlimited access to Viva Movie Box’s growing library of titles for ₱59 per week. The initial slate of local originals set for release in 2026 includes Akin Ka Lang, Elisa: Batang Kabit, Maid for Revenge, Love Forbids, Inagaw na Anak, A Mistress’ Guide to Moving On, and She’s Not My Sister. The cast features Ryza Cenon, Mon Confiado, Rhen Escaño, Nathalie Hart, Albie, Rose Van Ginkel, Denise Esteban, Meg Imperial, and Louise delos Reyes, alongside a powerhouse lineup of veteran actors. The platform will also feature popular Asian micro-dramas known for their gripping cliffhangers.

“The introduction of Viva Movie Box acknowledges the shift in content consumption. Our strategy ensures Viva remains a key player in the local streaming scene. This launch highlights our forward-looking approach—anchored on synergy, innovation, and a deep understanding of Filipino audiences.”

Del Rosario, who spearheads the project, described Viva Movie Box as a natural evolution within Viva’s growing digital ecosystem, alongside VMX and Viva One.

“With Viva Movie Box, we’re translating our long-standing expertise in serialized drama into a new digital format. Our goal is to leverage Viva’s creative ecosystem—from talent to production—to deliver high-volume, compelling content. This vertical format keeps us connected to the next generation of viewers, ensuring our stories remain accessible and relevant wherever they are.”

VMB: Viva Movie Box is now available for download on both Google Play and the Apple App Store, marking a major step forward for Viva as it continues to shape the future of Filipino entertainment.
