Outbox Media Powerhouse Corp. (OBM) recently orchestrated a truly special evening with “Thrive: A Symphony of Thriving Stories,” a benefit concert that seamlessly blended exceptional musical performances, heartfelt storytelling, and gourmet dining to raise funds for the Cancer and Hematology Center of the Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC). Held on September 26 at a fully-packed Metrotent in Pasig City, the event was a resounding success, generating over 3.5 million pesos to support the diagnosis, treatment, and well-being of young cancer patients.

Inspired by Zoey Taberna, daughter of OBM founders Anthony and Rossel Taberna, and her courageous battle with leukemia, “Thrive” was a moving celebration of life and the strength of the human spirit. Zoey, along with her sister and stem cell donor Helga, took to the stage to share their story and deliver a performance that touched the hearts of everyone in attendance.

The evening unfolded with a series of captivating musical acts. Ogie Alcasid, a true legend of Filipino music, entertained the audience with his unique blend of humor and heartfelt songs. His duet with Lani Misalucha was a highlight of the night, showcasing their incredible vocal prowess. Julie Anne San Jose and Darren Espanto, two of the country’s most talented young artists, also delivered electrifying performances that brought the crowd to their feet. The concert opened with the inspiring sounds of Acapellago, whose mesmerizing vocal harmonies set the stage for an evening of hope and solidarity.

But “Thrive” offered more than just incredible music. OBM, renowned for their expertise in events and multimedia production, curated a complete sensory experience for attendees. Guests were treated to a delectable 5-course plated dinner catered by Taste of The Town, adding a touch of culinary excellence to the evening. This attention to detail underscored OBM’s commitment to creating unforgettable events that leave a lasting impact.
