Philippine streetwear brand OXGN is turning up the volume with “THE FINAL ROUND,” its latest 2026 campaign that brings together music, movement, and street fashion.

The campaign focuses on a new budots-meets-hip-hop track created with international DJs SGAMO and Jarreau Vandal. The collaboration pays homage to budots pioneer DJ Love and the grassroots sound that emerged from Davao, while giving the genre a fresh direction through a contemporary streetwear lens.

Carrying the banner “Local Sound. Global Recognition. Streetwear Expression,” THE FINAL ROUND introduces audiences to OXGN’s latest collection through music and movement. The campaign unfolds through a performance-driven film, followed by three collection drops scheduled for August, September, and October.

More than a fashion campaign, THE FINAL ROUND highlights the continued evolution of Filipino street culture and the potential of local creativity to reach audiences beyond the country. It also brings the communities that helped shape these cultural movements into the conversation.

“We wanted to show that Filipino streetwear can stand confidently beside global style movements while still staying close to the people it was made for. The collection takes AMEKAJI inspiration and translates it through OXGN’s local lens. Creating fashion and merchandise that feel elevated, relevant, and competitive on a global scale, but still reachable for young Filipinos,” said Cathleen Cotioco, Brand Director of OXGN.

From Davao’s Streets to a New Sound

Budots, the electronic dance genre associated with DJ Love and Davao’s grassroots music scene, has become an important part of Filipino street and party culture.

For THE FINAL ROUND, OXGN teamed up with SGAMO and Jarreau Vandal to reinterpret the genre through a budots x hip-hop fusion track. The new sound serves as the campaign’s musical centerpiece, driving its performance film and subsequent rollout.

Three Drops, One Streetwear Story

THE FINAL ROUND will be released through three collection drops in August, September, and October. Each release builds on the campaign’s connection between music, movement, and street culture before putting the spotlight on OXGN’s clothing line.

Designed for the modern urbanite, the collection draws inspiration from Amekaji (アメカジ), Japan’s interpretation of American casual style. The aesthetic takes cues from vintage Western workwear and military clothing, reinterpreting them through a more refined Japanese approach.

The influence can be seen in the collection’s relaxed silhouettes, camouflage prints, and textured fabrics, offered across both men’s and women’s pieces. Prices start at ₱899.

The Final Round Begins

OXGN began introducing THE FINAL ROUND through social media as August arrived, with the campaign continuing throughout the month before leading into the September and October collection releases.

By connecting a distinctly Filipino sound with international collaborators and contemporary streetwear, OXGN’s latest campaign puts local culture at the center of a fashion story designed to reach a wider audience.
