A new OPM band is about to hit the music scene, and they’re bringing a whole lot of heart with them. Blvck Entertainment Production, Inc. and Blvck Music are proud to introduce Padayon, a group of musicians ready to serenade you with their original “Hugot love songs.” Louie and Grace Cristobal, the driving forces behind Blvck Entertainment, are confident that Padayon’s music will resonate with Gen Z listeners.

A Second Chance at a Dream

Padayon’s journey is a story of resilience and determination. Hailing from Leyte, this group of friends has been making music together for years. Back in 2012, they even had the chance to release their music under a different label. However, when their contract ended, some members decided to pursue different paths.

But the remaining members refused to give up on their musical aspirations. They persevered, holding onto their shared dream, and thus, “Padayon” was born. The name, meaning “to carry on, move on, and persevere” in their local dialect, reflects their unwavering commitment to their music.

More Than Just a Love Song

Padayon is composed of Caloy Sablawon (vocals), Roberto Jazz Repulda (lead guitar), Xilon Daep (rhythm guitar), Robs Renomeron (drums), and Trix Rubenecia (bass). Their debut single, “Kahit Na Sandali,” tells a poignant story of longing for a lost love, a tale of unanswered questions and unresolved emotions.

“Kahit Na Sandali” is just a taste of what’s to come. Their self-titled digital album, set to drop this December, features more emotionally charged tracks like “Sa Aking Alaala,” “Dinggin Mo Sana,” “Ligaw Tingin,” and “Hadlang.” Each song promises to explore the complexities of love and loss with raw honesty and heartfelt melodies.

A Visual and Musical Feast

But Padayon is not just about the music; they’re also bringing a visual experience to their fans. Their music video for “Kahit Na Sandali,” directed by Edrex Sanchez, will soon be available on Blvck Entertainment’s YouTube channel.

The band’s creative endeavors are made possible by the support of Alkaviva Waters Philippines, GLC Infinite Waters International Co., Grace Electronics Philippines, Blue Green Dragon Marketing, LG Realty Development, and Blvck Creatives Studio.

Get ready to be swept away by the music of Padayon, a band that proves that dreams, like love, are always worth fighting for.
